For school, I was writing a journal
and made up this story.
It is a very good story, my family told me it was great
so I thought I would share it here.

Story
There are many consequences people make in life. Some people learn from their own mistakes, others never learn and some people learn from others mistakes.
There is a man who was never really pleasant. For example,
One evening he went to a dance. A dance where there were many ladies and gentlemen. And this fellow seemed to be rather nice the first time someone met him. He wasn't the best at dancing, but his supposedly good character made up for that.
He was a charmer until he criticized a young lady. Who was a very wonderful dancer. She knew just what to do and when to do it. The dance instructor never had anything to say that was correcting.
But this young man, as was said, was not a very good dancer, fairly new to it, and he criticized her dancing. He said that she danced too fast.
Well this lady was very offended by this comment. She wasn't too fast. In fact if she danced any slower, she wouldn't be on time with the music. So she avoided him. She did not want to dance, or converse, with someone who insulted her.
But this young gentleman did not learn from his mistakes. At the end of the evening, as another young lady sat down next to him to change out of her dance shoes, he commented on them. He asked what kind of shoe brand it was. She replied and told him what the brand was.
And he said they were ugly.
Well, this poor young girl was very insulted. She had always been given good comments on her shoes. This man had offended her greatly. She got up and left.
Sadly this man never learned from his mistakes. He always criticized, and offended. He lived a lonely, unhappy life because of the way he treated people.
But there are other people who learn from others mistakes.
Therefore they can see what offends people and they learn from others mistakes and they themselves do not do them. For example;
There was a gentleman who went to a dance class. And he was a happy man. And everyone wanted to dance with him.
When he asked a lady to dance with him, she accepted and when she was on time for every beat to the music, every move, he did not criticize, but he commented, and said that he was very pleased that he was able to learn dance from such a wonderful dancer. This lady was pleased and she continued to talk with him. He was a pleasing person to talk to.
And when another lady sat down next to him to change out of her dance shoes, he didn't criticize, but commented. He said that they were lovely shoes and they looked wonderful upon her feet.
This pleased the young lady, and she wore the shoes more often.
This man learned from others mistakes and he made sure that he didn't insult anyone.
And in the end, he lived a very happy life, and everyone around him, admired him.
The moral of this story is;
- Do not criticize ladies shoes or their dancing. If you do not like them, keep your thoughts to yourself.
2. Learn from others. If you see them doing something that offends, do not go and do it. Do the opposite. And in the long run, you will live a very happy life.
Every young man should know this.

So there it is.
Please tell me what you think about this.
