This week, my sister, father and myself are spending the week in Provo, Utah and the BYU campus.
Where we will participate in hearing talks each hour
.
The day begins by waking up at 5:30 each morning.
Our first class starts at 8:30. We either chose to eat breakfast, or we didn't.
I opted not to really eat anything during the week, and to be honest, I felt great! Isn't that crazy, we think we will have more energy if we eat, but we feel so much better when we dont! At least for me.
Oh our human brains. :)
Anyway. So we would listen to various speaker each hour, until 9:30 in the evening. And at the end of each night we would be very exhausted! :) Sitting will do that to you!
But...there is a magical place....in the place of Provo....and it is called....
SAMMYS!
It is a shakeplace, where they put
cupcakes or pecies of
pie in your milkshake!
And it is MUCH better than your normal shake!
Try it!
This is our second day at Education week.
Where I started to go to a few of the
adult classes.
Which, by the way, are just
as good as the youth classes!
This was a lovely sunset, that I couldnt
quite get the right
picture, but I tried.
3 times.
^^Our third day at Education week.^^
;)
It was actually really great!
We left a little early to go and eat.
And we passed all the flowers that are around the
Salt Lake Temple.
This is my favorite picture!
We went to a Mexican
restaurant.
And I found this!
snit it just great!
The family whose house we were staying at
said that they had
been to the restaurant before they covered the guy
up!
I think it is just hysterical!
On our final day, Abby and I were very sad that our week was over!
We cant wait till we go next
year!
But we were able to get many good
things in.
We went and saw
The Odd Life of Timothy Green
and that was such
a sad movie!
I was also called and asked if I would be able to play
a musical number in church!
Ha ha. It was Friday night...and we wouldn't
be home till late on Saturday.
I have no idea what took over me, but I said yes...
And I didn't do that bad. :)
But overall it was a great week
and I look forward to it next year!
